Bryophyte Compendium

In this section of the site knowledge about bryophytes should be collected. It is organized in sub sites called chapters to allow quick navigation.

Currently the site is under construction and therefore has many gaps. Eventually information about morphology, anatomy and systematics of the phyla Bryophyta (mosses), Marchantiophyta (liverworts) and Anthocerotophyta (hornworts), as well as physiology, ecology, phytochemistry, evolution, biogeography, cytology and what else there is should be accessible.

Source of the information should be mainly published textbooks and sometimes papers.
